Box Score COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio Dominican men's soccer team returned home to Sunbury Road to continue its campaign, hosting the University of Findlay in Great Midwest Athletic Conference play.
Both teams traded chances throughout the opening minutes of the contest, but Jaxson Szabo (Worthington, Ohio) almost gave the Panthers the advantage in the 40th minute. The Black and Gold defender's shot from the top of the box was just over the bar. ODU continued to put on the pressure as Jacob Gruber (Westerville, Ohio) unleashed a shot that went just to the right of the net.
Szabo would be presented with one more chance to grab the lead and the win in overtime, but the Findlay goalkeeper made the save to preserve the draw and a share of the points.
UP NEXT
The Panthers head south for the annual road trip to take on Kentucky Wesleyan University and Trevecca Nazarene University. The road stretch begins on April 1 with kickoff scheduled for 8:30 PM.
