Box Score MIDLAND, Michigan – The Ohio Dominican women's basketball team fell in its final contest of the 2021 calendar year to Northwood University on Saturday afternoon by the score of 91-48.
Gabby Stare (Newark, Ohio) led the charge, tallying 15 points on the afternoon and collecting four boards. Bailey Williams (Dublin, Ohio) finished the contest with nine points which marks the first time she hasn't finished a game with 10 or more points this season.
Freshman Brynn Mullet (Berlin, Ohio) added eight points and three assists. Guard Kennedy Schlabach (Millersburg, Ohio) finished with seven points and combined with Mullet, and Grace Hete (Akron, Ohio) to go a perfect combined 6-for-6 from the free-throw line as the Black and Gold shot an impressive 87.5% from the charity stripe.
The Black and Gold retreated into the locker room trailing by ten points at halftime but couldn't regain their offensive prowess as a slow second-half start and strong defense from the Timberwolves lifted the hosts to victory.

ODU now heads on hiatus for the holiday break but returns to action on January 1st, battling Kentucky Wesleyan College. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 PM.
