Box Score COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio Dominican men's soccer team concluded its regular-season home schedule, falling to the University of Findlay by the score of 1-0.
Findlay struck early by securing a goal in the sixth minute of the contest. David Hug tallied the goal after the visitors were awarded a corner kick. The Black and Gold attempted to respond as forward Khalif Hassan (Columbus, Ohio) registered a quality scoring opportunity in the 18th minute but was denied by the Oiler goalkeeper.
ODU continued to push during the remainder of the half but couldn't muster an answer as the Oilers carried the advantage into intermission. The visitors emerged from the locker room looking to collect an insurance goal, outshooting the Black and Gold 5-1.
Goalkeeper Alvaro Benito (Zargoza, Spain) remained steadfast to collect eight saves to give his team an opportunity to come back but despite a hard charge, the Panthers couldn't mount a comeback and fell 1-0.
