Box Score COLUMBUS, Ohio – For the second game in as many days, the Ohio Dominican men's soccer team battled to a 1-1 draw against a Great Midwest Athletic Conference opponent. The Panthers welcomed the visiting Tiffin Dragons to Sunbury Road, but neither team could grab a game-deciding goal.
The Dragons wasted no time in finding the back of the net, taking just 29 seconds to find the back of the net. Forward Caleb Gibbons headed in a ball from the right side and into the net to give the Dragons a 1-0 lead.
ODU responded in the 10th minute as forward Shingai Nindi (Shanghai, China) converted an opportunity after receiving a pass from Mo Sheik (Columbus, Ohio) and putting it into the back of the Dragon net to level the game at 1-1.
Goalkeeper Alvaro Benito (Zargoza, Spain) made a career-high eight saves carrying his team through two overtime periods and earning a share of the points.
