FINDLAY, Ohio – Freshman Alyssa Hoyng (Celina, Ohio) had seven kills and hit .333, but Ohio Dominican's volleyball team fell 3-0 (19-25, 13-25, 16-25) at Findlay on Friday night.

Junior Kelly Nadler (Leipsic, Ohio) added six kills and freshman Ashton Barr (New Castle, Ind.) tallied 10 assists. Junior Ciara Ralston (Findlay, Ohio) led the team with eight digs.

ODU (1-9, 0-2 G-MAC) hung close in the opening set, as an ace by sophomore Bailey Line (Westerville, Ohio) kept the Panthers within 14-12 at the midway mark, but the Oilers (9-0, 2-0 G-MAC)  went on a 6-1 run to pull away.

The third set was also close early on, with a kill from freshman Alexis Young (Gahanna, Ohio) making it a 10-10 score, but the Oilers scored the next six points to once again pull away.

Ohio Dominican remains on the road to take on Hillsdale at 1 p.m. Saturday.
