Box Score COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Dominican's volleyball team fell by a 3-0 score (11-25, 21-25, 17-25) to visiting Lake Erie in GLIAC play Tuesday night.
The Panthers (4-7, 1-3 GLIAC) committed 21 attack errors while allowing Lake Erie (9-5, 2-2 GLIAC) to hit .341 in the match.
Senior Tory Thompson (Quincy, Ohio) notched a double-double with 13 kills and 10 digs, while sophomore Kelly Nadler (Leipsic, Ohio) and freshman Leah Howser (Lewis Center, Ohio) added seven kills. Freshman Bailey Line (Westerville, Ohio) led the team with 24 assists.
The Panthers never led in either the first or third sets. ODU had a 12-11 lead in the second frame and trailed just 17-16 before the Storm scored three straight points to pull away.
Ohio Dominican remains home to host Grand Valley at 7 p.m. Friday.
