Box Score NORTH CANTON, Ohio – The Ohio Dominican men's soccer team allowed one goal in each half as they fell on the road Sunday afternoon to Walsh, 2-0.
The Panthers would post 11 shots in the match, with eight coming on goal, but were unable to find the back of the net.
Freshman Ryan Kasprzak (Hilliard, OH) and sophomore Parker Wyatt (Westerville, OH) each led ODU with three shot attempts.
Kasprzak and junior Michael Fragoulis (Chios, Greece) combined for five of the eight shots on goal for the Panthers.
The Cavaliers (3-5-0, 1-4-0 GLIAC) scored the first goal of the match in the eighth minute, and they took the 1-0 lead into halftime. WU would then add an insurance goal in the 85th minute.
The Panthers (0-5-2, 0-4-1 GLIAC) will be back at home next weekend when they welcome Northwood and Saginaw Valley State. ODU and NU are scheduled to kickoff at 7 p.m. on Friday, October 2.
