The Panthers (7-6, 2-2 GLIAC) held Saginaw Valley (10-2, 2-2 GLIAC) to a .172 hitting percentage but hit just .119 as the Cardinals registered 106 digs (26.5 per set).
Senior Tory Thompson (Quincy, Ohio) totaled 14 kills and 20 digs for her sixth double-double and also picked up a career-high five blocks. In the opening set, ODU led 19-18 before Thompson ripped off three kills to put the Panthers in front 22-19, and Oestreich's kill put the set away.
