Box Score COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Dominican's men's soccer team could not muster much offense as the Panthers fell 3-0 to visiting Northwood on Friday night in the rain and wind at Panther Stadium.
Northwood (6-1, 5-1 GLIAC) held a 19-9 edge in shots, including an 11-1 count in shots on goal.
The Timberwolves scored early, striking just 3:35 into the match, but ODU hung tough for the rest of the half and trailed 1-0 at the break.
However, an own goal off of a Northwood corner kick gave the visitors a 2-0 lead 16 minutes into the second half, and the Timberwolves put the game away with another goal at the 73:01 mark.
Junior Shane Facemyer (Sunbury, Ohio) led ODU with three shots, while freshman Ryan Kasprzak (Hilliard, Ohio) and junior Tanner Ebright (Pickerington, Ohio) each had two shots apiece.
The Panthers (0-6-2, 0-4 GLIAC) return to action at 2 p.m. Sunday against Saginaw Valley in Panther Stadium.
