Box Score NORTH CANTON, Ohio --The Ohio Dominican men's soccer team lost to Walsh in a GLIAC matchup on Sunday, 2-0.
The Panthers are now 7-9-0 overall and 5-8 in the GLIAC. Walsh, with the win, improved to 6-9-0 overall and 4-9-0 in the conference.
Neither team was able to find the back of the net in the first 45 minutes of action as the two teams headed to the break tied 0-0. The Panthers held a 7-4 shot advantage after the first half.
In the second half, Walsh was able to find the back of the net twice, once in the 60th minute, as well as, in the 69th minute. The Panthers were unable to score on their two shots in the second half, as they were defeated 2-0.
Senior Jakob Szabo (Worthington, OH) led ODU with three shots. Freshman goalkeeper Clayton Hildebrand (Findlay, OH) saw his first action of the season as he logged the final 18 minutes in goal for the Panthers.
The Black and Gold will return home on Wednesday to face Cedarville. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. between the Panthers and Yellow Jackets who will be meeting in a late season non-conference matchup.
