COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Dominican's volleyball team returned home for the first time in nearly a month but couldn't come away with a victory as the Panthers fell 3-0 (17-25, 21-25, 10-25) to visiting Tiffin Tuesday night at Alumni Hall in GLIAC South Division action.

Summer Hale (Galena, Ohio) led ODU with seven kills, 11 assists and 19 digs, Elyse Mongillo (Columbiana, Ohio) had 12 assists and Stacy Rogg (Cincinnati, Ohio) tallied 18 digs as the Panthers dropped to 7-18 (2-15 GLIAC).

In the first set, Tiffin (13-14, 9-8 GLIAC) jumped to a 10-2 lead, and the Panthers would draw no closer than six points the remainder of the set. ODU took the early advantage in set number two, leading 5-2 after a kill from Tara Winner (Versailles, Ohio). However, the Dragons slowly pulled away, leading by as much 21-14 before the Panthers rallied.

Kills by Rachel Billing (Anna, Ohio) and Michelle Ritter (Gahanna, Ohio), as well as several Tiffin attack errors, helped draw the Panthers within 21-19. Another Ritter kill made it 22-20, but Tiffin scored three of the final four points in the set and went on to win the third set to take the victory.
