Cross Country Competes at the All-Ohio Championships

CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Ohio Dominican's cross country teams competed at the All-Ohio Championships Saturday afternoon at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course on the campus of Cedarville University.

The men finished ninth in the Division II/NAIA part of the race while the women did not have a team score.

On the men's side, freshman Caleb Belmont (Carroll, Ohio) led the men once again finishing with a time of 27:51.6 while junior Keaton McNair (Pickerington, Ohio) finished with a time of 28:38.7.

Sophomore Sean Noll (Sheridan, Ohio) finished the 8K race in 30:12.2 while Jaren Gilliam (Euclid, Ohio) and Ethan Sinning (Tipp City, Ohio) finished back-to-back with times of 32:06.7 and 32:13.0, respectively.

On the women's side, freshman Paige Boehringer (Covington, Ohio) led the Panthers in the 5K race finishing with a time of 26:11.2 while sophomore Ashley Wihl (Williamsport, Ohio) finished with a time of 26:45.2.

Freshman Haleigh Spencer (Hilliard, Ohio) finished with a time of 27:22.4 and fellow classmate Emma Lutz (Celina, Ohio) rounded out the Panther racers with a time of 28:15.9.

The Panthers will be back on the course at the JennaStrong Fall Classic on Friday, October 11 hosted by Wilmington University.
