Cross Country Heads to Cedarville for All-Ohio Championships

RACE INFORMATION

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Dominican's cross country teams are set to run in the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Championships Saturday, September 28 at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course in Cedarville, Ohio.

The event is hosted by Cedarville University will be scored in three separate divisions including Division I, Division II/ NAIA and Division III.

A week ago at the National Catholic invitational hosted by the University of Notre Dame, the men's and women's teams each finished 17th.

Freshman led the way for the Panthers on both sides as Caleb Belmont (Carroll, Ohio) and Paige Boehringer (Covington, Ohio) each finished atop the ODU standings. Belmont finished the 8K race in 28:00.94 while Boehringer finished the 5K race in 20:28.22.

The men's 8K Championship race will begin at 1 p.m. with the women's Championship 6K beginning at 1:45 p.m. The men's Open Race will start at 2:30 p.m. and the women's open race begins at 3:15 p.m.
