Hoyng's 12 Kills Not Enough For Volleyball

ELKINS, W. Va. – Ohio Dominican's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (16-25, 15-25, 17-25) match to Davis & Elkins in G-MAC play Thursday night.

Freshman Alyssa Hoyng (Celina, Ohio) led the Panthers with 12 kills while hitting at a .391 clip. The 12 kills are a season high and she has now hit at least .391 in the last four matches. It's the 11th time this fall she's hit at least .300.

Freshman Ashton Barr (New Castle, Ind.) added 13 assists and sophomore Bailey Line (Westerville, Ohio) had 10. Junior Jordan Jaeckin (Olmsted Falls, Ohio) led the team with 11 digs with freshman Jill Pyles (Bronson, Mich.) chipping in a season-high 10.

Ohio Dominican remains on the road to play at Ohio Valley at 7 p.m. Friday.
