COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Coming off winning its first GLIAC regular season title and its first GLIAC tournament Finals appearance, the No. 23 nationally ranked, Ohio Dominican women's soccer team will continue to make history as they have been selected as the number four seed in the Midwest Region for the 2014 NCAA Division II Tournament.

As the number four seed, the Panthers will travel to Somers, Wisconsin to play GLIAC foe, Saginaw Valley State. ODU and SVSU will play at the number one seed, Wisconsin-Parkside.

The match between ODU and SVSU is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 14.

This marks the first time the No. 23 Panthers have made the NCAA national tournament. ODU finished the regular season and GLIAC tournament play with a 15-4-1 overall record, breaking the mark for most wins, most consecutive wins, and longest unbeaten streak in a season all-time in the program's 15 year history.

The Panthers and Cardinals played to a scoreless draw in the regular season in Columbus, Ohio.
