COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Freshman goalkeeper Kelsey Harris (Mason, OH) earned her second GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week honors this season.

Harris logged two shutouts this week as she recorded a 1-0-1 record. The Panthers defeated Northwood 1-0 last Friday and tied No. 21 Saginaw Valley 0-0 on Sunday.

Harris stopped all four shots on goal in 200 minutes of play this past week, and has now recorded four shutouts on the season. She was also a part of a three goalkeeper shutout against Alderson-Broaddus earlier in the season.

On the season, Harris holds a 5-2-1 record and has been the starting goalkeeper during the current six match unbeaten streak. Her goals against average of .500 is ranked second in the GLIAC and 25th nationally.

The freshman has allowed just four goals this season in over 720 minutes of action. Harris has now earned GLIAC Player of the Week twice, as she recorded two shutouts against Cedarville and Lee to earn her first award.

Harris and the rest of the Panthers' will be on the road this weekend as they travel to Michigan Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
