COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio Dominican head coach Jonathan Meade inked two more student-athletes to the women's soccer team's 2012 recruiting class with the recent signing of Felicia Cuthbert and Deanna Mascia to National Letters of Intent.
Cuthbert and Mascia join seven fellow class of 2012 signees that officially committed to ODU back on the first day of the signing period.
"The addition of Felicia and Deanna is very exciting for the Panthers," stated Meade. "Both have trained very hard to get to this point and we know they will bring that self determination and work ethic to Panther Field next year. Deanna will compete at the target position for us, while Felicia will challenge at goalkeeper."

A three-year letterwinner, Cuthbert made 81 saves and allowed 29 goals last season for the 8-9-1 Monarchs. For her career, she tallied 221 saves and allowed 59 scores.
Why I Chose Ohio Dominican: "I liked the smaller class sizes and it's relatively close to home. I also liked the coaching staff and the soccer program as whole."

Intended Major: Secondary Education
Club Team: Crew Juniors, Pride FC
Mascia was a four-year varsity starter and two-time captain for the Hawks and this past fall was named a Central Ohio Division II All-Star. In 2008, she was selected to the 2008 Adidas National Soccer Showcase TopFlight freshman game in Strongsville and assisted on the winning goal. An honors student, Mascia was also awarded the team's "Hawk" Leadership/Spirit Award as a junior and senior.
Why I Chose Ohio Dominican: "I picked ODU because I wanted to attend a small, Catholic university close to home. It has an excellent education department and best of all I get the opportunity to play soccer."
