TIFFIN, Ohio – With her second and third scores of the year, senior forward Sierra Patterson (Brecksville, OH) provided the Ohio Dominican women's soccer team the offensive spark Thursday afternoon as the Panthers shutout South Division leader, Tiffin, 2-0 at Paradiso Field.

ODU's third consecutive shutout moves the Panthers to 5-6-2 overall and 3-4-2 in the GLIAC, while the Dragons with their second straight home setback, fall to 6-3-1 in the conference and 7-5-2 on the year.

For the fifth time this season and third straight contest, the Panthers struck in the game's opening six minutes as Patterson scored to the lower right 90 at the 4:27 mark from just outside the six-yard box off a pass ahead from sophomore Megan Augusta (Lyndhurst, OH) that split a pair of defenders near the top of the 18.

Patterson struck again in the 80th minute as she danced along the far left wing endline, maneuvering in and out of three Dragons and flipping the ball past the keeper to the far side netting for her first multi-goal game and first by a Panther since last year's 2-1 season finale win over Northwood (Mich.).

Freshman Laura Clark (Lapeer, MI) collected her fourth shutout on the year with six saves in goal.

ODU returns home to face Findlay at 1 p.m. this Sunday, Oct. 16 for their annual Pink Day game in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
