COLUMBUS, Ohio – The seventh annual NC4K Classic will be held at Jefferson Country Club in Blacklick, Ohio on Monday, April 8 and Tuesday, April 9, with Ohio Dominican's women's golf team playing host to the 19-team tournament.
There will be split tee times on Monday that begin at 10 a.m. and a shotgun start on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.
A year ago at this tournament, the Panthers finished in 10th place and raised over $1,800 for NC4K and have their top four scorers from that tournament back to compete again.
Junior Abby Swensen (Milford, Ohio) led the way a year ago with a two-day total of 157 and her average this year is 82.1 Swensen has three top-20 finishes on the season including a 13th place finish at the Cumberland Trail Classic earlier in the fall season.
Fellow junior Bailey Krueger (Canal Winchester, Ohio) shot a 167 a year ago in the NC4K as she leads the team heading into this year's tournament with an average of 80.3 with two top-10 finishes and five top-20 finishes. Matching Krueger a year ago was senior Kaylin Dill (Sedalia, Ohio) who comes into this season with an average of 84.9 with a pair of top-20 finishes.
Also in the scoring a year ago for the Panthers was junior Emma Romine (Marysville, Ohio) who posted a 172 over the two days and comes into the week with an 83.9 average in her 16 rounds played over the fall and early spring.
