Women's Golf Hosts CT Classic This Weekend

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio Dominican's women's golf team will host the CT Classic for the second consecutive year at Cumberland Trail Golf Club in Pataskla, Ohio. 

The 36-hole, two day event will play host to 15 teams featuring six conferences with 84 total players.

Last year at the CT Classic, the Panthers tied for fifth shooting 644 over the two days.

All nine players for the Panthers will participate in the event held on Saturday and Sunday.

Junior Bailey Krueger (Canal Winchester, Ohio) will lead the way for the Panthers as, in the G-MAC Fall Invitational, she posted a 13th place finish shooting 243 over the three rounds. Last year at this event, Krueger posted a 14th place finish shooting rounds of 79 and 77. 

Senior Kaylin Dill (Sedalia, Ohio) posted her fifth top 20 finish in her career as she tied for 20th shooting 250 at the G-MAC Fall Invitational this past week. Dill posted a round of 87 last year at the CT Classic. 

Placing in a tie for 24th at the G-MAC Fall Invite was junior Emma Romine (Marysville, Ohio). Romine had a three-round score of 253. Last year at this event, Romie placed 18th with rounds of 78 and 80.

Fellow junior, Abby Swensen (Milford, Ohio) tied for 27th this past week at the G-MAC Fall Invite. Her first round of 75 tied her lowest 18-hole score of her career. Swensen placed in a tie for 15th a year ago at this event posting scores of 80 and 77.

Rounding out the Panther five for the weekend will be junior Tori Jones (Ashland, Ohio). Jones finished 34th at the G-MAC Fall Invitational as she posted a three round total of 267. Last year at the CT Classic, Jones placed 40th posting scores of 85 and 90

The CT Classic will tee off with with 11 a.m. tee times on Saturday where players will tee off on holes No.1 and No 10 while there will be a shotgun start on Sunday with play starting at 9 a.m.
