COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Dominican's women's basketball team will play host to three teams visiting Alumni Hall as Ashland, Cedarville and Quincy come to Columbus for the season-opening crossover tournament.

ODU will take on Quincy at 3:30 p.m. Friday to start the action, followed by Ashland and Cedarville at 5:30. On Saturday, Cedarville and Quincy square off at 1, with ODU and Ashland concluding play at 3.

The Panthers enter the season projected to finish fifth in the G-MAC preseason poll. ODU went 18-11 last season and appeared in the Midwest Regional Rankings for a third straight year as well.

Though plenty of new faces dot the roster this year, the Panthers do have an experienced backcourt. Senior guard Alexis Overly (Chillicothe, Ohio) has appeared in 75 games in her career, making 28 starts, and averaged 10.7 points and 3.8 assists per game last year. She'll be joined by the team's leading returning scorer, junior guard Alexa Fisher (Powell, Ohio), who scored in double figures 18 times last year and averaged 13.1 points per game.

Sophomore guard Angela Troyer (Sugarcreek, Ohio) appeared in all 29 games last year and averaged nearly 18 minutes per contest, and junior guard Hannah Clark (Millersburg, Ohio) appeared in 24 games with three starts in two seasons at Northern Kentucky.

Back in the frontcourt for ODU is sophomore forward Olivia Fox (Newark, Ohio), who averaged better than 12 minutes per game in 29 contests last season. Sophomore Taylor Harazin (Aurora, Ill.), a transfer from Quincy, appeared in 26 games for the Hawks last year as well.

ODU will lean on its freshmen class to also replace minutes from last year's seniors. Forward Aubriana Bellard (Middletown, Ohio) and guards Charlea Henley (Columbus, Ohio), Alli Kern (Waterford, Ohio) and Kennedy Schlabach (Millersburg, Ohio) will all vie for playing time this season.

Returning to the team but expected to miss time this season due to injury are seniors Cayla Bensman (Anna, Ohio) and Emily Thomas (Pickerington, Ohio) and junior Brittleigh Macaulay (Big Prairie, Ohio).

Ohio Dominican will continue its non-conference schedule at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at Glenville State.
