HILLSDALE, Michigan – Ohio Dominican's track and field teams completed their season at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championships Saturday at Hillsdale.
The men finished ninth with 17 points while the women finished 10th with 7 points.
Senior Clayton Seymour (Ashville, Ohio) led the way for the men with a podium finish placing third where he broke his own school record in the disc throwing 48.87 meters. Seymour also had an eighth place finish in the shot put throwing 14.40 meters.
Junior Draven Bass (Circleville, Ohio) had a fourth place finish in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 54.44 while Cam Brandon (Cleveland, Ohio) had a seventh place finish in the 110 meter hurdles crossing the line in a time of 15.21.
The 4x100 team of Brandon, Bass, Isaiah Smith (Logan, Ohio) and Omar Jalloh (Pataskala, Ohio) had a seventh place finish with a time of 42.89 while the 4x400 meter relay team of Jalloh, Bass, Brandon and Bobby Bogantz (Sunbury, Ohio) finished eighth with a time of 3:24.23.
On the women's side, junior Bryanna Barber (Reynoldsburg, Ohio) had a sixth place finish in the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.72 after posting a seventh place finish in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.50 earlier in the day.
