COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Dominican's track and field teams are set to compete at the Tiffleberg Open on the campus of Tiffin University on Saturday.
Last week, the Panthers raced at the April Fools Invitational at Otterbein where Clayton Seymour (Ashville, Ohio) led the way for the men's team with a first place finish in the discus throwing 46.82 meters and later in the day had a fourth place finish in the shot put with a distance of 14.30 meters.
On the track, the 4x400 meter relay team of sophomore Omar Jalloh (Pataskala, Ohio), freshman Adam Kamel (Brook Park, Ohio), junior Isaiah Smith (Logan, Ohio) and senior Bobby Bogantz (Sunbury, Ohio) had a fourth place finish crossing the line with a time of 3:36.22.
On the women's side junior Shaunqueza Stevens (Dublin, Ohio) led the way on the track with a fourth place finish in the 100 meter dash finishing with a time of 12.80.
In the field events, junior Megan Tamasovich (Canal Winchester, Ohio) finished fifth in the high jump clearing the 1.59 meter mark while Emma Barth (Dayton, Ohio) finished sixth in the hammer throw with a distance of 38.61 meters.
