Szabo and Alexander Named to Men's Soccer All-GLIAC Teams

BAY CITY, Mich. – Senior Jakob Szabo (Worthington, OH) of the Ohio Dominican men's soccer team was named to the First Team All-GLIAC on Friday, voted on by the GLIAC head coaches.

Junior goalkeeper Justin Alexander (Reynoldsburg, OH) was also named to the Honorable Mention team.

Szabo led the Panthers offensively this season with seven goals and four assists. Szabo's offensive statistics in four categories rank inside the top 10 in the conference. He ranks fifth in shots with 49, as well as fifth in goals scored. His assist total was good enough for eighth in the GLIAC, while finishing sixth in total points with 18. Szabo finished his ODU career ranking sixth all-time in assist with 16.

Alexander finished his first season as the main goalkeeper for the Black and Gold with four shutouts in 18 matches. He recorded two shutouts where he recorded six saves a piece, once in the season opener at Urbana, as well as, at Findlay toward the end conference play.
