Panthers Fall 1-0 to Cedarville

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- In a match that featured just 13 total shots, Ohio Dominican's men's soccer team suffered a 1-0 setback to visiting Cedarville in a non-conference matchup Wednesday night at Panther Stadium.

ODU fell to 7-10 on the year, while the Yellow Jackets improved to 12-4-2.

The first half was scoreless, with very few scoring opportunities for either team, until Cedarville cracked the scoring column with a goal with 4:28 left in the half. The Yellow Jackets outshot ODU 7-2 in the half.

The second half featured just one shot for the visitors and three by the Panthers, as senior Jake Szabo (Worthington, Ohio) put one on goal that was saved with less than three minutes to play.

Ohio Dominican concludes the regular season at 7 p.m. Friday against Lake Erie at Panther Stadium.
