Szabo Picks Up PDL Team of the Week Honors

TAMPA, Fla. – Ohio Dominican men's soccer player Jake Szabo (Worthington, Ohio) was named to the Premier Development League's "Team of the Week" for his efforts on the pitch last week.

Szabo, who will be a senior for the Panthers this fall, had a goal and an assist to help the West Virginia Chaos defeat Cincinnati in a key divisional matchup. The win helped the Chaos clinch a spot in the playoffs as the team – which also features ODU's Caleb Wilson (Reynoldsburg, Ohio) – has compiled a 7-3-4 record this summer.

Szabo is tied for the team lead with 13 points on the season, with five goals and three assists. He leads the team with 24 shots. Wilson, a defenseman, has played 361 minutes in eight matches for the Chaos this summer.
