Men's Golf in Sixth After Round One of the Davenport Fall Invitational

AUGUSTA, Mich. – Ohio Dominican's men's golf team sit sixth overall after shooting 296 in round one of the Davenport Fall Invitational at the Stoatin Brae Golf Club.

Sophomores Ben Herman (Germantown, Ohio) and Robert Holden (Hertfordshire, England) led the way for the Panthers. Herman shot an even par round of 71 on day one as he sits tied for 12th while Holden shot 72 (+1) where he sits tied for 15th.

Junior Alex Heban (Toledo, Ohio) shot 76 (+5) where he is tied for 35th and freshman Jacob Brownley (West Chester, Ohio) shot 77 (+6) where he sits tied for 39th.

Senior Blake Saffell (Somerset, Ohio) rounded out the Panther five as he sits tied for 46th after shooting 79 (+8) in round one.

Round two of the Davenport Invitational begins with an 11 a.m. shotgun start.
