COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Dominican's men's golf team heads to the Mount Vernon Nazarene Fall Invitational at Chapel Hill Golf Club on Saturday, October 5.
The tournament is a one day 36-hole event with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
The Panthers will send the entire squad down to Chapel Hill Golf Club with Robert Holden (Hertfordshire, England), Ben Herman (Germantown, Ohio), Blake Saffell (Somerset, Ohio), Dalton Crowley (Nashport, Ohio) and Alex Heban (Toledo, Ohio) as the five counting for the team score.
Earlier this week in the Flyer Intercollegiate, Holden had rounds of 79 and 81 where he finished tied for 50th overall. A year ago when the tournament was just 27 holes, Holden had rounds of 78 and 36.
Also at the Flyer Intercollegiate, Herman finished tied for 23rd with rounds of 77 and 78 while Saffell had a pair of 78's to finish tied for 32nd. A year ago at the MVNU Fall Invitational, Herman led the way for the Panthers with rounds of 73 and 36 where he finished tied for second overall. Saffell had rounds of 77 and 37 to finish tied for 17th.
Crowley led the Panthers this past weekend on Tuesday with a round of 77 after shooting 84 in round one. Last year, Crowley shot his low round of 70 in round one before shooting 41 on the last nine holes where he finished tied for seventh.
Heban did not play in the MVNU Fall Invitational a year ago but finished this week with rounds of 80 and 89.
