Panthers Suffer 80-77 Setback at Salem International

Salem, W.Va. – The Ohio Dominican men's basketball team suffered an 80-77setback to Salem International (W.Va.) on Wednesday evening in the Panthers first road contest of the season.

Sophomore Mark Minch (West Chester, Ohio) paced all Panthers with 27 points on 11-of-17shooting while fellow sophomore Trent Weaver (Hilliard, Ohio) posted his third double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. It is the third game in a row that the sophomores have scored in double figures. Senior Don Kellum (Chicago, Ill.) added 10 points.

Ohio Dominican shot 53 percent from the field and out rebounded Salem International 34-28.

The Panthers will return to action on Saturday, Nov. 30 for a nonconference game against Seton Hall.
