• In his last position, Tate was the Special Teams Coordinator and Running Backs Coach at Reynoldsburg High School for the 2023 season. 
  • Coached a All-OCC and All-District returner and running back that combined for six D1 offers.
• Spent four years (2020-2023) at KIPP Columbus High School as the Offensive Coordinator and Wide Receivers Coach.  
  • Helped the program move from five total wins over three years to a 7-4 record and advanced to the second round of the playoffs. 
  • Tate worked with current ODU assistant coach James Lee, who was head coach. 
  • Had two All-Ohio players and one All-District that garnered numerous D1 offers. 
• In 2019 and 2020, Tate coached the wide receivers at Linden McKinley STEM Academy and helped run the passing game. 
• Graduated from Central State in 2018 after four years on the football team, earning a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration.
