Drew Spencer enters 2018 in his third season as Ohio Dominican's wide receivers coach.
His group had a terrific 2017 campaign as ODU led the nation in passing efficiency and ranked third in the country in passing offense. Cory Contini was named the G-MAC Offensive Back of the Year and Devanaire Conliffe was named the G-MAC Freshman of the Year, while David Turner and Cedric Washington also picked up all-conference honors.
In 2016, Contini earned All-GLIAC honors as he ranked in the top five in the GLIAC in receptions and yards.
Spencer spent 2015 at Carnegie Mellon as the wide receivers coach, where he helped the Tartans to an 8-3 record, scoring 41.4 points per game.
Prior to Carnegie Mellon, Spencer spent time at nearby Capital University, serving as a defensive assistant and cornerbacks coach. He also has coached wide receivers at Tiffin and coached three years at Bellaire High School.
Spencer was a four-year starter for Tiffin at safety, earning a trio of all-conference awards.
