Andrew Zeigler joins the Ohio Dominican football staff in the fall of 2019.
Zeigler is currently the Performance Director at Power Train Sports and Fitness Ohio, a role he has been in since February 2017. During his time at Power Train Sports and Fitness Ohio, which also includes several months as Performance Coach prior to his current role, Zeigler has trained Division I and prospective collegiate athletes over all sports including hockey, football, baseball and soccer. He has managed a team of Performance Coaches to maintain a consistent quality of product and grown the coaching staff through continuing research and education.
Prior to joining Power Train Sports and Fitness Ohio, Zeigler spent one-and-a-half years at D1 Sports Training and Therapy in Columbus, Ohio, where he served as both a Fitness Coach and Sport Specific Training Intern. Zeigler led group setting fitness classes, built a foundation for younger athletes by teaching basics of speed, agility and strength training, and led both dynamic and static stretching routines for warm ups and cool downs.
Zeigler currently holds Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certifications, as well as being a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Education from The Ohio State University in 2014, focusing on Health Promotion, Nutrition and Exercise Science.
