Wahle Garners Another All-American Nod

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Junior kicker Brent Wahle (Pataskala, Ohio) was honored by the Associated Press for a second consecutive season on their Little All-American Team, which recognizes student-athletes from Division II, Division III and the NAIA.

Like last year, Wahle earned Third Team All-American honors from the AP. This is his second All-American honor following the 2014 season, as he was also named to the AFCA All-American team.

A two-time First Team All-GLIAC pick, Wahle made 19-of-24 kicks and all 44 of his extra points to lead ODU in scoring this year with 101 points. He made 13 of his last 14 field goals on the season, with a long of 53 yards, and also made kicks of 51 and 49.

Wahle holds every school record in place kicking, having made 50 field goals in his three seasons, along with 146 extra points. He's tallied 296 points for the Panthers as well.

Other 2014 postseason awards for Wahle include BSN, Daktronics and Don Hansen All-Region selections. Prior to the year, he was a consensus preseason All-American.
