Football Moves To No. 2 In Regional Rankings

INDIANAPOLIS - Following a 49-21 win at Northwood, Ohio Dominican's football team moved up a spot to No. 2 in the NCAA Super Region Four Regional Rankings, released Monday.

The Panthers, who were ranked No. 3 in the initial regional rankings released last Monday, have a 7-1 record on the season. They trail just Ferris State (9-0) in the region.

The top six teams in each of the nation's four regions earn bids into the postseason, with the top two seeds in each region earning first round byes.

Ohio Dominican plays host to Saginaw Valley at noon this Saturday and concludes its regular season at Tiffin at 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 15.

ODU is also ranked No. 11 in the AFCA Top 25 poll. The Panthers have been ranked for 17 consecutive weeks, including postseason and preseason, in the AFCA poll.
