Wahle Earns Third Career GLIAC Special Teams Player of Week Honor

BAY CITY, Mich. – After accounting for all of Ohio Dominican's points in the 9-3 win over Hillsdale on Saturday, junior kicker Brent Wahle (Pataskala, Ohio) has been named the GLIAC Special Teams Player of the Week.

It's the third time in his career he's earned the Special Teams award. He's also earned a pair of GLIAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week awards as well.

Wahle was perfect on Saturday, hitting all three of his field goal attempts from 27, 23 and 28 yards. Wahle also had three touchbacks on his four kickoffs in the 9-3 victory over Hillsdale. His 51 points scored this season are tied for the most amongst GLIAC kickers and he now has five career games of three or more field goal makes.

The junior also has 13 touchbacks on kickoffs this fall.

Ohio Dominican, ranked No. 8 in the AFCA poll, welcomes fellow unbeaten Ferris State to Panther Stadium for its Homecoming game at 1 p.m. Saturday.
