COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Dominican head baseball coach, Christopher Antonides, has announced the date for the 2019-20 open tryout for students enrolled in Fall 2019 semester classes. The tryout, which will take place at Frank Damian Field at Panther Valley, located on the east side of the campus, will be held at 4 p.m., Friday, Aug. 23.
Those interested in attending the session must be enrolled full-time, having at least 12 credits for the Fall 2019 semester at Ohio Dominican. In addition, the player must bring proof of insurance and present proof of a physical exam within the last six months and most complete an NCAA sickle-cell waiver form to the coaching staff at least 24 hours before the tryout. Players must bring a glove and equipment for the tryout.
Interested students should RSVP to assistant coach Brian Hull at firstname.lastname@example.org by 5 p.m., Wednesday, August 21. Within the email, please identify the primary position you are interested in trying out at, the high school you attended and graduation year, throw right or left, and whether you bat right or left.
