FAIRBORN, Ohio - To open the 2026 season, the Ohio Dominican Panthers women's cross country team headed to Fairborn Community Park for the Wright State Mike Baumer Classic on Friday (Sept. 4) night. 

The Panthers were 13th as a team in the 5K race on a hot and humid evening in Southwest Ohio.

Anna Blackstone was the top finisher for the Panthers with a 20:49.7 time in 78th place. Julia Eaton was four spots behind Blackstone in 82nd place, running a 5K PR of 21:05.2. Eva Dulle ran a 21:31.1 time in 86th place for the third best ODU time. Tyra McClain finished in 108th place at 22:54.4. Aileen Castillo clocked in at 23:41.5 in 113th place. Alyza Camp rounded out the six runners with a 25:40.5 time in 117th place. 

The Panthers will return to action in two weeks for the All-Ohio Classic at Cedarville.
