MIDLAND, Mich. -  The Ohio Dominican Panthers cross country team took to the course in Michigan for the 2025 Great Midwest Cross Country Championships on Saturday (Oct. 25).

At Fisher Family Trails, the Panthers were 11th overall in the women's team standings out of 12 teams in the 6K race.

Merrick Shorter broke his own 8K record in the men's race with a 25:17.1 time as he was 33rd overall.

Eva Dulle had the best ODU finish with a 25:06.5 time in 88th place. Anna Blackstone was four spots behind Dulle with a 25:21.4 as she was in 92nd place. Alyza Camp crossed the line in third for the Panthers at 26:53.2 in 108th place. Julia Eaton set her personal best for the 6K of 27:12.7 one place behind Camp. Aileen Castillo clocked in at 27:21.3 in 112th place for her best 6K time of the season. Tyra McClain was 121st place, running a 29:03.2. 

The NCAA Midwest Regional in Kenosha, Wisconsin awaits in two weeks on November 8th.
