Cross Country Runs at JennaStrong Fall Classic

WILMINGTON, Ohio -- Ohio Dominican's cross country teams competed at the Jenna Strong Fall Classic Friday evening hosted by Wilmington College. 

On the women's side there were 35 teams with 308 total runners in the 5k race where the Panthers finished 27th. 

Senior Kristen Noecker (Circleville, Ohio) led the way for the Panther women finishing with a career-best time of 21:07.4 while freshman Ashley Wihl (Williamsport, Ohio) also ran a best time and was just behind with a time of 21:12.8. 

Fellow freshman Addy Miller-Brown (Marysville, Ohio) also ran a season best time of 22:10.0 while sophomore Zoie Fisher (West Jefferson, Ohio) ran in a time of 24:42.8.

Sophomore Kylee Risinger-O'Malley (Grove City) rounded out the Panther women with a time of 24:49.4.

On the men's side, there were 36 teams with 369 total runners in the 8k race where the Panther men finished 24th.

Senior Alejandro Serna (Duncanville, Texas) led the way for the Panthers with a 39th place finish overall with a time 26:17.1. 

Sophomore Keaton McNair (Pickerington, Ohio) finished with a time of 28:47.7 while senior Bobby Bogantz (Sunbury, Ohio) finished with a time of 29:22.7. 

Just behind Bogantz was freshman Sean Noll (Sheridan, Ohio) with a time of 29:29.9. Fellow freshman Ethan Sinning (Tipp City, Ohio) was just behind Noll with a time of 29:31.7.

The Panther cross country teams will prepare for the G-MAC Championships on Saturday, November 3 at GlenOak High School in Canton, Ohio.
