Cross Country Travels to Rio Grande for Patty Forgey Invitational

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The cross country teams for Ohio Dominican will race in the 48th Patty Forgey Invitational on Saturday, September 22. The event hosted by the University of Rio Grande, has the women's race beginning at 12:30 p.m. in the 5K while the men start the 8K at 1:10 p.m.

The Panthers will travel to Rio Grande after competing in the Cedarville Friendship Invitational this past weekend. Overall, the women placed 14th at the event, while the men's squad finished in 16th place.

Senior Kristen Noecker (Circleville, Ohio) led the women of ODU with a time of 22:16.2 and was followed by junior Megan Tamasovich (Canal Winchester, Ohio) and her time of 22:50.5. Freshman Addy Miller-Brown (Marysville, Ohio) finished in 23:02.6 and Ashley Wihl (Williamsport, Ohio) crossed the line in 24:04.9.

The Panther men were led by senior Alejandro Serna (Duncanville, Tx.), who finished 40th with a time of 27:56.0 in the 8-kilometer event, Sophomore Keaton McNair (Pickerington, Ohio) finished with a time of 30:19.4 and freshman Ethan Sinning (Tipp City, Ohio) crossed in 31:13.2, while senior Bobby Bogantz (Sunbury, Ohio) finished in 31:36.0.

Following the Patty Forgey Invitational, Ohio Dominican will head to the All-Ohio Championships hosted by the University of Akron, along with conference foes Cedarville, Findlay, Lake Erie, Malone, Tiffin, and Walsh.
