Men’s Cross Country Squad Realizes Multiple Personal Bests At Lansing Invitational

LANSING, Mich. — Ohio Dominican's men's cross country team realized multiple personal bests in 8k competition at the Lansing Invitational on Friday at Grand Woods Park.

Alec Mueller (Minerva, Ohio) and Draven Bass (Circleville, Ohio) each recorded 8k personal bests, with Mueller finishing in 29:52 and Bass notching a 33:51.

Alejandro Serna (Duncanville, Texas) ran in his second race of the season and finished in 27:58. Serna led the Panthers in each of the squad's first three races in 2016 and notched a strong finish in competition Friday.

Leading the team was Chad Ellis (Brook Park, Ohio), who crossed the finish line in 27:34, while Justin Carroll (Berea, Ohio) ran a 27:43 to record the second-fastest time for the Panthers.

Ohio Dominican takes to the course again on Friday, October 13 when it competes in the Jenna Strong Fall Classic in Wilmington.
