PHILLIPI, W. Va. – Ohio Dominican's volleyball team forced Alderson Broaddus into 28 hitting errors while hitting .207 itself as the Panthers went on the road to sweep the Battlers 3-0 (25-18, 25-22, 25-15) on Saturday in G-MAC play.
The Panthers finished with 6.5 blocks while limiting AB to an .030 hitting percentage. ODU, meanwhile, tallied 33 kills and hit .421 in the third and final frame.

ODU started the match on a 6-2 run before AB evened the set at 10-10. The Panthers scored the next five points, capped off by a kill from Nadler, and ODU closed the set on a 5-1 run to win the opening frame.
Another 5-1 run early in the second set put the Panthers in front 10-6, and ODU slowly extended the lead to as much as six on several occasions, including 22-16, but AB climbed back into the set with four straight points. However, kills from Skidmore and freshman Alexis Young (Gahanna, Ohio) helped the Panthers seal the set.
ODU controlled most of the third set, tallying six straight points to grab a 13-7 lead, and AB never drew within four points the rest of the way.
