PAINESVILLE, Ohio – Ohio Dominican's volleyball team scored a 3-0 (25-22, 25-15, 25-20) win at Lake Erie in GLIAC play Friday night, holding the Storm to an .062 attack percentage in the win.

The Panthers (11-13, 9-6 GLIAC) hit .253 themselves on the night, their second-best percentage on the season behind a .410 clip in a 3-0 win over Walsh on Sept. 13.

Sophomore Jackie Oestreich (Brighton, Mich.) led ODU with seven kills, while seniors Caitlin Kusan (Westerville, Ohio) and Brianna Reder (Maineville, Ohio) each tallied six kills.

Freshman Ashlin Aiken (Onsted, Mich.) led ODU with 20 assists while senior Lauren Rindler (Rossburg, Ohio) added 16 digs.

The Panthers jumped to a 16-6 lead in the first set, recording eight kills on their first 13 swings. Lake Erie drew within two, 24-22, at the end, but a kill by Reder closed the set in ODU's favor.

ODU trailed 10-9 in the second set before ripping off eight straight points to go in front 17-10, punctuated by a kill from Reder.  The Storm never drew within four after that point as the Panthers took the frame.

The third set was tied at 15-15 before two kills and an ace by freshman Ciara Ralston (Findlay, Ohio) gave ODU an 18-15 edge. The Storm answered with two points, but ODU took control and sealed the win with a block by Oestreich.

Ohio Dominican remains on the road for a 2 p.m. match with Ashland on Saturday.
