Maria Manzo begins her second year as a volunteer assistant coach with the ODU women’s soccer program.
A 2006 graduate of Ashland University, Manzo was a four-year starter and letterwinner for the Eagles soccer team. She was a four-time First Team All-GLIAC selection, two-time GLIAC Offensive Player of the Year and Second Team All-American in 2005. Manzo also helped lead the Eagles to three conference championships and ranks second in AU history in career goals and assists.
Manzo, a Pickerington, Ohio native, is the current head coach of the U-9, U-10 and U-15 A Worthington Crew Juniors girls youth soccer teams. She was also the coach the U-13 Gold, U-14 A and U-14 B girls teams dating back to 2008, and has served as the Assistant Director of the Columbus Crew Soccer Camps each of the last four years.
Manzo is employed with Premises Control, Inc. as a sales representative of security systems to hospitals and currently resides in Westerville.
