INDIANAPOLIS — With two game-winning goals in wins over Ursuline and Lake Erie, Ohio Dominican women's soccer senior forward Alli Pavlik (Cortland, Ohio) earned offensive player of the week honors in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference, the league announced Tuesday.
Pavlik has led the offensive attack for ODU, which enters the week in sole possession of first place in the Great Midwest. With five goals, Pavlik ranks in a tie for second in the conference in scoring and her 32 shots top the Great Midwest. Pavlik also boasts the most game winning goals in the conference with four thus far.
In addition to her two game winning goals last week, Pavlik notched 14 shots with nine shots on goal.
Pavlik has had a stellar career at Ohio Dominican and currently ranks sixth all-time in career goals scored (24) for the Panthers. She needs just three more goals to move into third place all-time in ODU women's soccer scoring all-time.
Ohio Dominican (5-2, 3-0 G-MAC) travels to Cedarville on Thursday and Ohio Valley on Saturday in its first road, Great Midwest matches of the season.
