Women's Golf Finishes Third, Swensen Finishes Fifth at Michael Corbett Fall Invitational

ERIE, Penn. – Ohio Dominican's women's golf team finished third at the Michael Corbett Fall Classic at Lake Shore Country Club shooting two round total of 653 with rounds of 321 and 331.

Senior Abby Swensen (Milford, Ohio) led the way for the Panthers shooting a pair of 78's where she finished solo fifth. Swensen also finished third in the field in par-4 scoring at +5 through the two rounds.

Fellow senior Bailey Krueger (Canal Winchester, Ohio) finished tied for 10th with a 79 in round one followed by an 84 in round two to finish at 162 for the tournament.

The last of the three seniors in the starting five was Emma Romine (Marysville, Ohio) who posted an 81 in round one before shooting 85 in round two to finish tied for 17th.

Sophomores Alex Gomez (Morrow, Ohio) finished tied for 25th with scores of 82 and 86 while Natalie Parker (Ostrander, Ohio) had a pair of 89's to finish tied for 54th. Gomez also finished tied for the top in par-5 scoring at -1.

The Panthers will be back in action Monday and Tuesday, September 8 and 9 at the Pearl Club to compete in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Fall Invitational.
