Women's Golf Sits Fourth After Day One of the G-MAC Championship

LEXINGTON, Ky. After 36 holes of the G-MAC Championship the Ohio Dominican's women's golf team is sitting in the fourth place after shooting 334 followed by a 339 to shoot 673 on day one.

Junior Emma Romine (Marysille, Ohio) led the way shooting a 79 on the first 18 before shooting an 81 on the last 18 to place in a tie for 9th.

Sitting in tie for 14th, junior Bailey Krueger (Canal Winchester, Ohio) shot an 87 before following that up with a tie for the team best 79 for the day.

After shooting an 81 on the first 18, junior Abby Swensen (Milford, Ohio) shot 87 to sit in a tie for 17th while senior Kaylin Dill (Sedalia, Ohio) shot 87 and 90 to place in a tie for 29th. Rounding out the Panther top five, freshman Natalie Parker (Ostrander, Ohio) shot 88 before shooting 92 in the second half of the day.

The Panthers are back in action tomorrow as they play 18 more at the UK University Club tomorrow.
