Women's Golf Travels to Kentucky Wesleyan for Last Fall Event

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Dominican's women's golf team is slated to participate in the Kentucky Wesleyan College Regional Preview this weekend. The two-day event will kick off on Saturday, October 13 at the Pearl Club in Owensboro, Kentucky.

The Panthers finished ninth at the two-day Bing Beall Invitational at Findlay last weekend.  The team shot 318 on the first day of competition, followed by a 332 on Day Two. Missouri-St. Louis won the event with a 598 total score.

Leading the way for the Panthers was junior Abby Swensen (Milford, Ohio), tying for 19th thanks to rounds of 77 and 79 for her second top-20 of the season.

Fellow junior Bailey Krueger (Canal Winchester, Ohio) who tied for 27th with a combined score of 159 with rounds of 77 and 82.

Emma Romine (Marysville, Ohio), another junior, posted her lowest round of the year firing a 79 in the first round before shooting 84 in the second to finish 45th.

The only senior in the lineup was Kaylin Dill (Sedalia, Ohio,) who posted rounds of 85 and 88, while junior Tori Jones (Ashland, Ohio) rounded out the Panther five, recording a pair of 87's.

Ohio Dominican will attempt to bounce back after the bottom-half finish in Findlay. They have three top-four performances so far in the fall slate. Trevecca Nazarene will also participate in the invitational, along with host Kentucky Wesleyan, making three G-MAC participants.
