Women's Golf Finishes Ninth at Bing Beall Classic

FINDLAY, Ohio – Ohio Dominican's women's golf team finished ninth after shooting a combined two day total of 650 at the Bing Beall Invitational at Findlay Country Club.

After shooting 318 on day one, the Panthers posted a final round score of 332. Missouri-St. Louis won the event with a score of 598. Meredith Wipper and Kristina Kniesly, both of Findlay were co-medalists at the event.

Leading the way for the Panthers was junior Abby Swensen (Milford, Ohio) who posted a tie for 19th where she posted rounds of 77 and 79 for her second top-20 of the season.

Fellow junior Bailey Krueger (Canal Winchester, Ohio) who tied for 27th with a combined score of 159 with rounds of 77 and 82.

Emma Romine (Marysville, Ohio), another junior, posted her lowest round of the year firing a 79 in the first round before shooting 84 in the second to finish 45th.

The only senior in the lineup was Kaylin Dill (Sedalia, Ohio) who posted rounds of 85 and 88 while junior Tori Jones (Ashland, Ohio) rounded out the Panther five with a pair of 87's.

Playing as an individual for the Panthers was senior Bailey Stephens (Mt. Sterling, Ohio) who posted rounds of 91 and 96 for ODU.

ODU wraps up their fall season this weekend, October 13 and 14 at the Kentucky Wesleyan Regional Preview at Pearl Golf Club in Owensboro, Kentucky.
