Women's Golf Holds a Tie for Fourth at G-MAC Fall Invite

COLUMBUS, Ind. -- Ohio Dominican's women's golf team holds a tie for fourth with Walsh as they posted a 328 on day one of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Fall Invitational Monday at Otter Creek Golf Club in Columbus, Indiana.

Findlay holds the day one lead as they shot 289 on day one with Trevecca and Tiffin in second and third shooting 317 and 321, respectively. Mackenzie Torres of Findlay leads individually as she posted a -3 69 on day one. 

The Panthers were led by junior Abby Swensen (Milford, Ohio) as she tied her career best round of 75 (+3) to place her in a tie for fourth. 

Behind Swensen was senior Kaylin Dill (Sedalia, Ohio) who posted an 82 which places her in a tie for 10th. Holding 26th place is junior Bailey Krueger (Canal Winchester, Ohio) who was one shot behind Dill posting an 83 on day one. 

Rounding out the Panther five on day one was sophomore Ava Illig (Seville, Ohio) and junior Tori Jones (Ashland, Ohio) who both posted an 88 to place them in a tie for 31st. 

Day two of the G-MAC Fall Invitational is set to have a shotgun start at 8 a.m. at Otter Creek.
